Aidan Manus
Despite the fact that, in general, the comic will be consisting of black and white pages, it was still a good idea to put careful thought into the color choices for the Thirdstar cast. It definitely helps to paint a better picture of things.
When deciding on color choices, Conor and I took into consideration several things:
1. Do the colors compliment their personality?
2. Do the colors work well with the colors of other characters?
3. Do the colors help each character stand out?
4. Are the colors wicked sweet?
The first three were our main concern for the most part, so we concentrated on those. For Aidan, who's a rambunctious little guy by nature of his age, we wanted to go with bright, warm colors (by "warm" meaning reds, yellows, oranges, etc.).
After coming up with some of the finalized colors (as seen in the image with the text), we opted for an alternate shirt color. The final color scheme is his red shirt.

Model Citizen
Last but not least we have Meixiu Yu. Aka "Mei" or "May". She's Allie's right-hand-woman, her confidant. She's an ex-model, and also the same species as Sunny, with the four arms and such.
Up next, finalized colors for the kids and the adults. After that, a round of sketches for the supporting cast of characters.
SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!
